Volkmar Denner (born November 30, 1956 in Uhingen ) is a German manager. He is chairman of the board of management of Robert Bosch GmbH .

After graduating from high school in 1975, Denner studied physics at the University of Stuttgart , where he took the diploma exam in 1981. After a research stay in the USA , he received his doctorate in physics in 1985 from the University of Stuttgart .

In 1986 Denner began his professional career at Robert Bosch GmbH in Stuttgart as a specialist in the development of power semiconductors in the Semiconductors and Electronic Control Units division .
