Arend Agthe
Arend Agthe (born February 19, 1949 in Rastede ) is a German director .
Life
Agthe attended the Oldenburg Hindenburg School , where he graduated from high school in 1968. He then studied theater studies and German literature , first in Marburg and later in Frankfurt am Main .
At the beginning of his career he was a member of the Arnold Hau group and made a name for himself, among other things, with children's television films for the series Sesame Street . From 1983 he also directed films such as B. River trip with chicken . In 1996 he began directing television films again with crime series such as Alarm für Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei .
In 2012 his first book was published, the children's crime film Rettet Raffi! which he wrote together with his wife Bettina Kupfer .
Agthe is a member of the German Film Academy .
