Knut Hake

Knut Hake (* 1971 in Heidelberg ) is a German film editor .

Life

Knut Hake graduated from the Kurfürst-Friedrich-Gymnasium in Heidelberg in 1991 . Then first studied architecture in Darmstadt . From 1994 he worked as a camera assistant in Cologne and from 1997 worked as an editing assistant at Guido Krajewski and his company Cut Company . There he was promoted to editor and has been working independently since 2003 .

An episode from the Berlin, Berlin series edited by Hake was awarded the International Emmy Award in 2004. In 2015, Hake received a nomination from the German Academy for Television for the best cut for Tatort: ​​Der Irre Iwan .

Knut Hake is a member of the Bundesverband Filmschnitt Editor eV (BFS) and now lives in Berlin .
