After an argument between the parents, Mona leaves her parents' home and moves in with 17-year-old Roman, the child's father. He explains to her that he cannot take care of her and the child. When she finds out two months later that Roman has had a girlfriend the whole time they lived together, she packs her things and leaves. After spending a night on the street, Mona is asked by her father to come back home, where the family has since grown closer.
