content

Maja Becker, is transferred by her boss to Aachen in the local editorial office of the "West German Merkurs". Paul Jacobs, the head of the local editorial team in Aachen, used to be a young, very ambitious journalist who one day got too close to a very high-ranking politician and felt this "mistake" existentially. This crash made him cynical. It is now financed through cheering articles for local entrepreneurs. His editorial staff are the former podiatrist Jennifer Kuntze, who can barely type, but has a certain sense of crime, and the head of the sports department Rajesh Prakasch. Prakasch is an absolute Star Wars fan. Prakasch is deputy editor-in-chief until Becker arrives, when Becker is transferred to the editorial office, she becomes Jacobs' deputy in place of Prakasch. Prakasch envy you this.

When Maja comes to Aachen, one murder after another happens. Maja and the editorial team clear up the crimes in front of the police, which the chief detective Susanne Bradulic doesn't like at all. She sees this jeopardize her ascent to police chief. Jan Bollmann, a shy police officer who fell in love with Maja, has suffered from this. He passes information on to Maja; Usually he does this willingly, but as soon as Maja does or says things that make it clear to him that she does not love him, he gets upset.
