David Schultz (cameraman)

David Schultz (born 1971 ) is a German cameraman. He is best known for his work on the feature films Don't Regret and Waste Your Youth by Benjamin Quabeck . In addition to numerous television productions, Schultz also made very successful cartoons, e.g. B. The Whip Master (awarded the Grimme Prize, among others ) and The Modern Cyclops by Daniel Nocke .

Life

From 1992 David Schultz completed an apprenticeship at Deutsche Welle and WDR in Cologne, as well as at the Hadeko film factory in Neuss. He then studied from 1994 to 1998 at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy in Ludwigsburg, where he completed his camera studies in spring 1999. Since then, David Schultz has been working as a freelance cameraman, primarily in the cinema and television sector. Since 2001 he has been a member of the Federal Association of Cinematography (BVK).

David Schultz lives in Berlin and Cologne.
