Benjamin Quabeck
Benjamin Quabeck (born May 14, 1976 in Wuppertal ) is a German film director and author.
Live and act
Benjamin Quabeck initially wanted to be an actor and took part in plays at elementary school. When he was twelve years old, his father bought a Video 8 camera, which he was always happy to “borrow” so that he could shoot his first little splatter films in the basement . From 1996 he studied directing at the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg Ludwigsburg. In addition to his studies, he worked as a freelance editor.
Quabeck already gained more attention with his debut film Don't regret anything , which is based on his novel of the same name.
In addition to his work as a film, television and video clip director, Quabeck writes and stages radio plays for WDR , sometimes in collaboration with Lee Buddah , who also composed the music for his two feature films.
