Nicole Kortlüke

Nicole Kortlüke (born March 9, 1976 in Rheda-Wiedenbrück ) is a German film editor .

Life

Kortlüke worked as an assistant editor for productions such as Speer and Er , Emmas Glück and films from the Tatort series before she trained as a film editor at the International Film School in Cologne . Since 2009 she has also worked as a lecturer in the “Editing Image and Sound” department at this film school.

Kortlüke has been cutting feature films, television films and series since 2006. This includes the film Rendezvous with Death: Why John F. Kennedy Had to Die and the film A Tick Different by Andi Rogenhagen , which was shown in competition at the Shanghai International Film Festival in 2011 .

The “Stunt” commercial she edited for directors Hanno Olderdissen and Markus Sehr won the “ First Steps Commercial Award 2008”. The spot also received an honorable mention in the field of advertising films at the young talent competition for advertising films kurzundschön of the Art Academy for Media Cologne and the West German Broadcasting Corporation .

Documentaries and short films edited by her were represented at various film festivals. The German-Israeli coproduction A Triangle Dialogue - Tales of the Defeated premiered at the Jerusalem International Film Festival in 2009 and won there in the Documentary Shorts category .

In 2009 she worked as editor for the documentary film Franks Welt , which premiered at the Hof International Film Festival 2009 , and the feature film Draußen am See , which was awarded the German Film Prize in two categories at the Munich Film Festival . In 2009 she also cut the television film “The Rebellion” for the director Manfred Stelzer .
