Lynn suffers from mental disorders and phobias , which is why she lost her job as a maid at the Hotel Eden and spent a long time in a clinic. To get her old job back, she sleeps with the hotel manager.
She lives alone and withdrawn, but with her regained job as a housekeeper, she is increasingly enjoying immersing herself in other people's lives. She puts on the clothes of hotel guests and rummages through their personal belongings. One Wednesday when she is almost surprised by a guest, she hides under his bed and spends the night there. Since then, she has enjoyed lying under the guests' beds most of all: she overhears their conversations, their meals and their sex. One day, Lynn witnesses how a guest orders Domina Chiara to her room. She discovers her own masochistic needs and develops ever closer contact with Chiara. She invites her new friend on a trip, but is transferred by her at the train station. In a dream sequence she travels to the sea with Chiara in a moving bed.
Lynn visits her mother; the situation is equally harmonious and distant. Lynn tells her mother that she, Lynn, is "a very different person than you think".

According to epd Film, the “laconic, incidental narrative” casts a spell over the audience, and in a few moments one feels “reminded of François Ozon ”.
