A slightly different is a German comedy film by director Andi Rogenhagen from 2011.
action
Eva is 17 years old and has a problem: she suffers from Tourette's syndrome . Because of her constant tics, she dropped out of school and looks for solitude in the forest, where she feels safe.
However, her life is completely upside down when she finds a body there, her father becomes unemployed and the family has to move to Berlin. Fear of the changes forces Eva to look for a job so that she can finance life in her hometown and not have to move to the big city with her parents. Since the search for a job fails because of her tics, she and her crazy uncle Bernie forge a plan to take part in a singing casting.
The jointly composed song “Arschlicht” did not find favor with the jury. Eva and Bernie already have a new plan: They make it easier for the common Sparkasse boss Kühne, who had canceled the family's loan, to get a suitcase full of black money so that Eva can stay at home.

criticism
“The staging, which fluctuates between children's, youth and adult films, knows how to portray the protagonists in a bizarre way, but narrows the view of the 'Tourette' syndrome all too much to a series of obscene verbosity. While the dramaturgy is often lost in secondary lines, the refreshing actors and the poetic camera are touching. "
