Jasna Fritzi Bauer (born February 20, 1989 in Wiesbaden ) is a Swiss actress .

Life

From 2006 to 2008 Bauer was a member of the ensemble in the youth club of the Hessian State Theater Wiesbaden ; She then completed her acting studies at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin , which she graduated in 2012.

Even during her student days, Bauer was seen as a guest at various theaters in Berlin, including at the Schaubühne on Lehniner Platz in Leo Tolstoy's Die Macht der Darkis directed by Michael Thalheimer . The staging of the play Helden by Ewald Palmetshofer at the bat studio theater, directed by Roscha A. Säidow, was awarded the Vontobel Prize at the 22nd theater meeting of German-speaking drama schools . After several small university productions, Bauer then took to the stage in spring 2012 under the direction of Jutta Hoffmann in the comedy The Game of Love and Chance at the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam. From 2012 to 2015 she was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Vienna Burgtheater , after which she retained the status of guest .

During her studies, she made her debut in Andi Rogenhagen's 2010 film A Tick Different , in which she embodies the role of the teenager Eva who suffers from Tourette's syndrome . For this work she was awarded the Young Actor Award of the Filmkunstfest Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in 2011 and the New Faces Award in 2012. Also in 2010 she was able to take on the leading role in Wolfgang Dinslage's feature film Für Elise . In 2011, Bauer received leading roles in two further films: In Christian Petzold's award-winning GDR drama Barbara , she played alongside Nina Hoss and Ronald Zehrfeld . Directed by Bettina Blümner she played the main character in the film adaptation Scherbenpark by Alina Bronskys novel of the same .

The first filming for German television followed in 2012. She was awarded the 2014 Bavarian Film Prize for her portrayal of the main character Charleen in Mark Monheim's tragic comedy About a Girl . In Kai Wessel's 2014 multi-part play Zeit der Helden , which was awarded the Grimme Prize , Bauer was engaged for one of the leading roles in the ensemble and played alongside Inka Friedrich , Oliver Stokowski and Julia Jäger . In 2016 she played the role of Mifti in Axolotl Overkill , directed by the author Helene Hegemann .

In the second season of the series jerks produced by Christian Ulmen . , which will be broadcast on ProSieben in 2018 , Bauer plays himself. The series is designed so that all actors embody themselves and largely improvise the text.

Bauer has been a patron of the Deutsche Tourette- Gesellschaft eV since October 2011 .

At the beginning of December 2019, Radio Bremen announced that the actress would succeed the team Sabine Postel and Oliver Mommsen as Bremen Tatort Commissioner.

Jasna Fritzi Bauer lives in Berlin. She is the great-granddaughter of the Swiss physiologist and membrane researcher Robert Stämpfli .
