Awarded the Nestroy Theater Prize 2013
The Nestroy Awards 2013 , the fourteenth award of the Nestroy Theater Prize , took place on November 4, 2013. For the first time, Hall F in the city hall in Vienna was the location of the award ceremony. The evening was moderated by the actress Sunnyi Melles , who won the award for best actress in 2005, supported by students from the Max Reinhardt Seminar .

In addition to the nominations, the jury announced three winners in advance: Elfriede Jelinek was awarded the author's prize, Annette Murschetz for the best equipment and Luc Bondy for his life's work.
A jury of critics consisting of Margarete Affenzeller , Thomas Gabler , Wolfgang Huber-Lang , Eva Maria Klinger , Michaela Mottinger and Lothar Schreiner decided on the winners in twelve categories . In the three categories of Best Actress, Best Actor and Best Supporting Role , there were five nominations each, three of which were proposed by the Academy of the Nestroy Theater Prize. In seven categories, Best Director, Best Young Talent, Special Prize, Best Off-Production, Best State Performance and Best German-Language Performance , the winners were selected from three nominations each, with two each being proposed by the Academy in the categories of Best Director and Best Young Talent .
