Christiane von Poelnitz
Christiane von Poelnitz (born March 17, 1971 in Münchberg , Bavaria ) is a German actress and a member of the Vienna Burgtheater ensemble .
Life
The actress from the von Pölnitz family completed her training as an actress at the Berlin University of the Arts . Immediately after graduating, she got an engagement at the Kölner Schauspielhaus in 1997 and was previously seen at the Salzburg Festival under the direction of Peter Stein until she was brought to the Hamburger Schauspielhaus in 2000 by the director Jan Bosse . In 2003 she was also seen as a guest at the Bavarian State Theater. In the following season, in April 2004, she made her debut at the Vienna Burgtheater in Andrea Breth's Don Carlos production and is now part of the ensemble there. She also took part in a variety of radio plays.
Von Poelnitz has two daughters, the castle actor Joachim Meyerhoff .
