Ulli Maier

Ulli Maier (born June 2, 1957 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress .

Life

Ulli Maier studied drama at the renowned Max Reinhardt Seminar in her hometown . Her engagements have taken her to the Vienna Volkstheater , Schauspielhaus Bonn , Schauspielhaus Frankfurt , Residenztheater Munich , Thalia Theater Hamburg , the Berliner Ensemble and the Salzburg Festival . She has worked with a number of renowned directors, including Jürgen Flimm , Claus Peymann , Karin Beier , Matthias Hartmann , Nikolaus Harnoncourt , Torsten Fischer and Jürgen Gosch .

Maier can also be seen in television films and series.

She teaches at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna and at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, gives readings and lends her voice to various audio book productions. For her theater work, Ulli Maier received the Karl Skraup Prize and the Sylvia Manas Prize in 1980, the North Rhine-Westphalia Promotion Prize in 1988 and the Nestroy Theater Prize in 2002 for best actress as "Agathe" in The Man Without Qualities .
