Jan Bosse
Jan Bosse (* 1969 in Stuttgart ) is a German theater director.
Life
Jan Bosse studied theater studies , German literature and art history in Erlangen from 1990 to 1993 . After completing his studies, he studied directing at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Art in Berlin , which he graduated in 1997. He then was assistant director to directors such as Manfred Karge and Robert Wilson . In 1998 Dieter Dorn engaged him at the Münchner Kammerspiele , in 2000 Tom Stromberg brought him to the Deutsche Schauspielhaus in Hamburg , where he stayed as in-house director until 2005. Since then he has been working as a freelance director.
In February 2008, Bosse staged opera for the first time: Monteverdi's Orfeo at the Basel Opera .
