Johannes Krisch
Johannes Krisch (born December 8, 1966 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actor .
Live and act
Since 1989 he has been a member of the Vienna Burgtheater ensemble . He was there on stage in the Austrian premiere of Sergi Belbel's Die Zeit der Plancks , currently he is playing Milota von Rosenberg in Martin Kušej's Ottokar staging, and he is in Franzobel's We want the Messiah now or the accelerated family , and see in The Power of Habit by Thomas Bernhard .
He works with directors such as Claus Peymann , Jürgen Flimm , Hans Neuenfels , Ruth Berghaus , Leander Haußmann , Karlheinz Hackl , Paulus Manker and Philip Tiedemann . Krisch also plays at the Salzburg Festival and at the Liechtenstein State Theater . He is also often in front of the camera for various television productions. In Thomas Brezina's new game show Dragon Treasure , he embodies the evil wizard Merlox , who sets traps for the candidate.
In May 2003 he released his first CD with Andy Radovan and his band under the title Mirrors , which contains song processing by Lou Reed and his band The Velvet Underground .
In 2008 he played the leading role in Götz Spielmann's Oscar-nominated film drama Revanche . In the same year he was nominated for the Nestroy Theater Prize for Best Supporting Role for his performance in Freier Fall .
In 2010 he played the role of Paul Schremser in Peter Patzak's Kottan determined: Rien ne va plus . In the same year he worked in Elisabeth Scharang's Maybe in Another Life .
On June 24th, 2017 Krisch took part in the “ Falco Coming Home - The Tribute” concert as part of the Donauinselfest 2017 and presented the songs Jeanny and Coming Home (Jeanny Part 2, One Year Later) .
Krisch has three sons and a daughter. He lives with the actress Larissa Fuchs .
Awards
At the Graz film festival Diagonale in March 2011, he was awarded the acting award for his portrayals in Die Vaterlosen , Maybe in Another Life and Kottan: rien ne va plus . At the Austrian Film Awards 2016 he was awarded in the category Best Male Leading Role for Jack . In 2017 he was awarded the Diagonale's Great Acting Prize and the professional title of chamber actor .
