Karlheinz Hackl
Karlheinz Hackl (born May 16, 1949 in Vienna ; † June 1, 2014 there ) was an Austrian actor and theater director .
Life
After training at the Krauss drama school , he received engagements at the Theater der Courage (1972/73), Wiener Volkstheater (1974–1976) with Gustav Manker , Hamburg Thalia-Theater (1976–1978) with Boy Gobert and since 1978 (director Achim Benning ) at the Vienna Burgtheater .
Hackl has been a full professor for role design at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna since 1996 . Prior to his artistic career, he graduated in Business Administration at the Vienna University of Economics with a master's degree from.
In his first marriage Hackl was married to the actress Brigitta Furgler , with whom he had two daughters. Daughter Franziska Hackl (* 1983) is also an actress. Since 1997 Hackl was married to the Austrian actress Maria Köstlinger . The two have a daughter together. In 2003 he was diagnosed with a malignant tumor in his brain, which was removed from him soon afterwards.
In 2008 Hackl tried to run his own party in the Austrian National Council elections, but failed in advance due to insufficient declarations of support.
In 2009 Hackl released the CD Mei Lebn - with songs by Georg Danzer . Most of it contains unpublished songs by Georg Danzer that he wrote especially for Karlheinz Hackl. In spring 2013 he was on stage with the program Mei Lebn - Karlheinz Hackl sings Georg Danzer . Only a few days after the premiere, a new cancer diagnosis followed.
Hackl died on June 1, 2014 as a result of his cancer and was buried in the Heiligenstädter Friedhof (part A, group 3, number 115) in an honorary grave in Vienna.
