Peter Keglevic

Peter Keglevic (* 1950 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian film director and writer of short stories , plays and screenplays .

Life

After graduating from school, he worked as a bookseller for four years. In 1968 he embarked on an artistic career (short stories, plays, scripts) and made his first experiences as a director (theater and radio play). He later studied directing at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. In 1974 he was hired by the Schauspielhaus Bochum for the role of George Harrison . Since 1976 he has worked as a film director and screenwriter. His TV film adaptation of the kidnapping of the German industrialist Richard Oetker , entitled The Dance with the Devil, with Sebastian Koch as Richard Oetker and Christoph Waltz in the role of the kidnapper Cilov, has received multiple awards .
