Magic Sticks is a German - American comedy film from 1987 .
action
The penniless drummer Felix does n't seem to be making his fortune in New York . He was given two wonderful drumsticks that make real New Yorkers dance to the rhythm. Two gangsters smell the big coup and kidnap Felix and his new girlfriend. Her plan to get rich with the help of the sticks fails, but Felix succeeds in asserting himself in the metropolis.

The lexicon of international films described the production as a "[h] armless, sympathetic comedy", the underlying idea of which was "not very sustainable [...]".
