The Arizona State Route 61 (abbreviated AZ 61 ) is a state highway in the US state of Arizona , which runs north-south direction.
The State Route begins on US Highway 60 near Show Low and ends after 68 kilometers near Zuni on the New Mexico border and becomes New Mexico State Route 53 . About two-thirds of the way, the highway meets Arizona State Route 180A . In the center of St. Johns , the road meets US Highways 180 and 191 . It then runs together with US 191 in a northerly direction to about 20 kilometers from the border with New Mexico.
