Frank Hoffmann (actor)
Frank Hoffmann (born July 16, 1938 in Radebeul ) is a German - Austrian actor .
Live and act
Hoffmann attended the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich .
After various engagements in Germany and Austria, he became a member of the Burgtheater in Vienna in 1967 .
From 1975 to 1994 Hoffmann designed and hosted the ORF TV program Trailer . Frank Hoffmann is also one of the most sought-after voices in German-speaking countries. In addition to numerous commercials, he is the station voice of various radio stations. So he moderated u. a. the Ö3 broadcasts tea hour and round midnight . He also lent his voice to several audio books, including Can't sleep, little bear? by Martin Waddell and Gutmachen , Kleiner Bär , which was placed on the hr2 audio book top list . The audio books were created as a cooperation between JUMBO Verlag Hamburg and ORF.
Frank Hoffmann is the director of the " Güssing Cultural Summer".
He was Federal President Rudolf Kirchschläger 1986 with the Cross of Honor for Science and Art of the Republic of Austria and Governor Karl Stix honored in 1999 with the Grand Decoration of Honor of the Province of Burgenland for staging exodus of Josef Reichl on Güssing Castle . Frank Hoffmann is an honorary member of the “Cultural Association of Austrian Roma and Sinti ”. In 2008 he was awarded the Golden Medal of Honor of the City of Vienna. For more awards see below.
In 2010 he was ambassador for the Austrian Federal Ministry for Social Affairs and Labor in the “International Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion”. In 2011 he was ambassador of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Social Affairs and Labor in the “International Year of Volunteers”.
Since January 2013 he has been working as a film expert for the private television broadcaster Servus TV in the show Lichtspiele - Das Filmmagazin .
