Trailer was an ORF television program that was broadcast from 1975 to 1994 and presented current movies with film excerpts. The show was moderated by the castle actor Frank Hoffmann in a very relaxed but also highly informative way. Hoffmann presented around six films each in 30 minutes. Usually a quiz question about film history was also asked.
The show was indeed not highly critical, but still a very good reference for the movies of that film buffs , especially because even division films and works that were shown with subtitles, were discussed.
The theme song was an abbreviated version of "Bird's Lament (In Memory Of Charlie Parker)," a piece of music by the composer Moondog .
