The Jumbo Neue Medien & Verlag GmbH is a German audio book publishing company and was founded in 1991 by Gabriele Swiderski and Ulrich mask founded. The logo, the red elephant, was designed by Jutta Bauer . The program now includes more than 1200 titles available. Jumbo Verlag publishes around 160 new productions every year. The publishing house owns the labels Jumbo (songs and stories for children), Goya libre (youth and all age programs) and GoyaLiT (audio books for adults). Most audio productions are recorded in German. JUMBO Verlag also publishes books parallel to the audio book program. The spectrum ranges from picture books to illustrated literary classics for young and old.

Awards

Numerous JUMBO productions were placed on the hr2 audio book best list and received awards such as the German Record Critics' Prize and the AUDITORIX audio book seal.
