Michael Kreihsl
Michael Kreihsl (born April 14, 1958 in Vienna ) is an Austrian director , screenwriter and actor .
Michael Kreihsl first studied art history and archeology and trained as a painting restorer. At the end of the 1980s he studied directing at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts , and it was here that his first films were made. This was followed by a film degree at New York University . Since the early 1990s he has also directed for the theater.
