Telestar
The Telestar was a television prize awarded annually from 1983 to 1998 , which honored people from the fields of entertainment, television games and information. Initiated by WDR , it was carried out together with ZDF from 1985.
In 1999 the Telestar was replaced by the German TV Prize from ARD , ZDF , RTL , and Sat.1 .
