Report from Bonn
The report from Bonn was a television magazine of the First German Television on current political events. The program has been broadcast on Fridays for 36 years since April 5, 1963. The successor to this broadcast is the report from Berlin .
The show was produced in the WDR's Studio Bonn . The very first broadcast achieved historical significance: In it, the then Federal Chancellor Konrad Adenauer declared : “I'm going in autumn”.
The program was produced by Westdeutscher Rundfunk ; In the last few decades it was embedded in the Tagesthemen , which on Fridays had the title The Tagesthemen with the report from Bonn . In order to record the news block of the day's topics live, they switched from Bonn to the daily topic studio in Hamburg and then back again.
