Alexander Arnz
Alexander "Sascha" Arnz (born August 25, 1932 in Rheydt ; † September 30, 2004 in Cologne ) was a German television director .
In Mönchengladbach he attended the Stiftische Humanist Gymnasium . Since 1957 he has directed television shows, first with the programs with Peter Frankenfeld ( ARD ), then with Boulevard Bio (ARD), Aktion Sorgekind ( forget-me-not , ZDF ) or from 1981 on Wetten, dass ..? (ZDF), 1990 at Fort Boyard on Sat.1 .
In 2002 he retired from the big ZDF show, but worked until a few weeks before his death as a director for Alfredissimo and the WDR midnight peaks . Arnz died on 30 September 2004 at cancer .
