Silvia Seidel

Silvia Seidel (* 23. September 1969 in Munich , † the end of July or early August 2012 ibid) was a German actress who a wider audience mainly through the title role in the ZDF - Christmas series Anna became known.

life and career

In 1984 Silvia Seidel, whose career began at the boulevard theater (with Edmund Gleede among others ), made her first appearance as a small actress in the film adaptation of The Neverending Story . In 1987 the ballet student was discovered for the lead role in the ZDF Christmas series Anna . The series was very successful, and in 1988 the film Anna - Der Film followed . Patrick Bach played the male lead alongside her. In 1988 she received the Bambi for portraying Anna Pelzer . In 1989 she directed the film Ballerina (Faith) in the USA under the direction of Ted Mather , in which she also plays a dancer.

However, it was unable to establish itself in the US film business in the long term. Most recently she played boulevard theater, for example from 2005 to 2006 alongside Sigmar Solbach in Romantic Comedy , and in German television series and films . She had supporting roles in the series Forsthaus Falkenau and Die Rosenheim-Cops . A theater tour was planned for autumn 2012.

On August 4, 2012, Seidel was found dead in her apartment in Munich's Glockenbachviertel . Like her mother in 1992, she died of suicide . A suicide note was found. Your urn grave is located in the Grünwald forest cemetery .
