Ariane Vuckovic

Ariane Vuckovic (* 1965 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a multiple award-winning German television journalist and correspondent .

Life

In 1984 she graduated from St. Angela School in Königstein im Taunus . She then began studying German and art history at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg , which she completed in 1989.

During the last two years of her studies she worked as a freelancer for the Hessischer Rundfunk ; from 1990 to 1991 she volunteered at Tele 5 . She was employed there for a year and was editor of the news program Fazit and the country magazine Vor Ort in Deutschland . She was also responsible for reporting from Studio Bonn . In 1993 she moved to VOX as head of service and news editor , but also traveled to Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina as a correspondent for the station .

Vuckovic has been working for ZDF since February 1994 . First she was the final editor and film writer of the women's journal ML Mona Lisa until February 1999 . During this time, she also provided reports on the Croatian , Bosnian and Kosovo wars for the current editorial offices ( heute , heute journal , Mittagsmagazin , Morgenmagazin, etc.) . She also produced the ZDF report “Die Kinder. The mines. The Hope. ”And for arte the documentary“ Mostar - Bridges of Hope ”. Between March 1999 and November 2000 she worked as a correspondent in Studio London . From January 2000 to August 2007 she was part of the team at ZDF.reporter magazine and reported on the effects of the 2004 earthquake in the Indian Ocean and the 2006 Lebanon War . In September 2007 Vuckovic took over the management of the Johannesburg studio . In the course of her career at ZDF, she has delivered reports, reports and news from over 20 different countries. On January 1, 2014, she moved back to the editorial team of ML “Mona Lisa”.
