ZDF reporter

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

ZDF.reporter was a reportage magazine on ZDF that was broadcast between 2001 and 2011. The show was moderated between 2003 and 2011 by Norbert Lehmann , previously by Steffen Seibert .

Time slot

The program was broadcast on Thursdays at 9 p.m. Until 2007, the slot was on Wednesday at the same time. In December 2010, ZDF announced that, as part of a program reform, ZDF.reporter would be stopped from mid-March 2011 in favor of a film evening on Thursday after 10 years. On March 24, 2011 the program was stopped for the time being. According to media reports, the close proximity to the other ZDF political magazine Frontal 21 may be the reason for the deletion. The program " ZDF.reportage ", which has been on the program since 1984 under changing titles, will remain, according to the broadcaster.

content

In 317 episodes of the mostly 45-minute program, almost 2000 individual reports that were around 10 minutes long were shown. According to the broadcaster, the topics should come from "everyday German life, from German reality". Nevertheless, a large part of the program consisted of reports on the work of state inspectors, such as the police, customs and regulatory authorities, and articles on frequently occurring cases of fraud (e.g. nomads renting out ).
