Wein + Markt is a monthly trade magazine aimed at the wine trade and wine producers in German-speaking countries. The magazine deals with current industry topics, tastes wines in its own tests (alternating monthly from food retailers and specialist retailers), analyzes market data, monitors the wine range in Germany with its own controls of the sales locations and deals with various sales channels for wine, sparkling wine and related spirits. Werner Engelhard is the editor-in-chief.

The journal is published by the specialist publisher Dr. Fraund , Mainz , published. The circulation numbers have fallen massively in the last few years and are 7085 copies (IVW, 1st quarter 2016), which are mainly distributed as free copies. Actual copies sold are 951 and 759 subscriptions.

The monthly title, founded in 2000, includes a weekly newsletter ("faxline") and the website, which is updated daily. In August 2006, the specialist wine magazine Wein + Markt conducted the first interview in the company's history with ALDI - which was awarded the “Locked Oyster” by the Research Network in 2003.
