The awarding of the Golden Camera 2002 took place on February 5, 2002 in the Konzerthaus am Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin . It was the 37th award of this award. The audience was greeted by Mathias Döpfner (CEO of Axel Springer Verlag ). Désirée Nosbusch was the moderator . About 1000 guests took part in the event. The award ceremony was broadcast on February 10, 2002 at 9:50 p.m. on the ZDF television station. The readers of Hörzu chose their favorites in the Shooting Star 2001 category .
