Golden Camera 2016
The awarding of the Golden Camera 2016 took place for the second time on February 6, 2016 at the Hamburg Messe in Hamburg . It was the 51st award of this award. For the first time, the Golden Camera was not hosted by the television magazine Hörzu , but by the entire Funke media group . For the 13th time, Thomas Gottschalk moderated the event . The award ceremony was broadcast live in prime time on ZDF and was seen by 3.53 million viewers (11.6% market share).
The jury, chaired by Christian Hellmann , editor-in-chief of Hörzu and other publications, included Matti Geschonneck , Guido Maria Kretschmer , Axel Milberg , Anna Maria Mühe , Cordula Stratmann and two Hörzu editorial members.

The readers of the program magazines and the daily newspapers of the Funke Mediengruppe were able to vote for their favorites in the Most Popular Showmaster category from December 4 to December 18, 2015.
