Carmen Nebel (born July 24, 1956 in Grimma ) is a German television presenter .

Life and professional history

Before Carmen Nebel lived in Berlin from the mid-1970s , she attended the extended secondary school in Grimma . From 1975 to 1979 she studied pedagogy , German and English at the Humboldt University in Berlin and then worked as a German and English teacher. After she was discovered in a talent competition in 1979, she started her television career in the same year, initially as a freelance program announcer for East German television .
