Life

Philipp Dittberner grew up in Berlin-Schöneberg. At the age of twelve he received his first guitar from his grandmother at Christmas . He is largely self-taught on this instrument. Dittberner worked at the Deutsche Oper Berlin as part of the Tusch! in the meantime in the choir, where he learned his songwriting skills. In his youth he played in a metal band. Dittberner is a trained physiotherapist . With this training he wanted to bridge the waiting semester, since an initial application for a place in medicine was unsuccessful.

Since the end of 2012 he has been publishing his songs on the soundcloud music platform . At the beginning of 2014 he wrote the song Cloud 4 , which he produced with the Hanoverian electro musician Marvin Webb (Marv). According to the two musicians, the contact and cooperation took place mainly via the Internet and telephone, personal contact only came about twice during the production. With Cloud 4 , Dittberner won the 2014 Berlin Pilsner Music Awards, a competition for newcomers to the German music scene that took place as part of Berlin Music Week. Thereupon it received some attention and the radio station Fritz took it on in its rotation . On January 16, 2015, Wolke 4 was released as a single and in March 2015 it reached the top 10 of the German single charts , as well as the top 10 of the Ö3 Austria Top 40 . In 2017, Wolke 4 was awarded triple gold by the Federal Music Industry Association for over 600,000 units sold (sales and premium streaming) .

On September 11th, Dittberner released his second single Das ist dein Leben . His debut album 2:33 was released on September 18, 2015 and reached number 12 in the German album charts. On the single 1.40m by the German rapper Prinz Pi , Dittberner took over the singing of the refrain. The single reached the top 25 in Germany. On April 8, 2016, Dittberner released the single Beside you . He has already completed two tours with these songs, one in 2015 and another in 2017.
