Marvin Webb
Marvin Webb (* in Hanover ) is a German DJ and music producer from Hanover, who is known under the artist name Marv .
Life
Webb says he started making music at the age of 16. Since 2014 he has been working with the Berlin singer Philipp Dittberner . At the beginning of 2014, Dittberner wrote the song Cloud 4 , for which Webb produced a version intended as a remix. Dittberner liked it so much that from now on both artists produced the song together. According to the two musicians themselves, the contact and collaboration took place exclusively via the Internet and telephone, personal contact only came about twice. With the song Cloud 4 , Dittberner won the 2014 Berlin Pilsner Music Awards, a competition for newcomers to the German music scene that took place as part of Berlin Music Week. As a result, the song received some attention and the radio station Fritz took the song into its rotation. On January 16, 2015, Wolke 4 was released as a single and in March 2015 it reached the top 10 of the German single charts , as well as the top 10 of the Ö3 Austria Top 40 .
