The Gardener & the Tree is a Swiss indie folk band.

history

The band was founded in 2013. It currently consists of Manuel Felder, Patrik Muggli, Daniel Fet, Philippe Jüttner and Lucas Pfeifer. In 2015 Philippe Jüttner added the band on bass and in 2019 Lucas Pfeifer succeeded the pianist Patrick Fet.

In 2014 they released their first sound carrier, the “Revolution EP”. With a contract with Universal Music Group Switzerland / Island Records , they released their second EP , "Mossbo", in September 2017 . This reached number 9 on the CH album charts. The single postcards contained on it recorded more than a million plays on Spotify within a short period of time .

The Gardener & the Tree received awards in Switzerland, including the award for Best Talent from Radio SRF 3 . and a Swiss Music Award for “Best Live Act”.
