Daniel Hartwich (born August 18, 1978 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German television presenter .

life and career

After graduating from high school in 1998, Hartwich studied German and political science at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main . During his studies he started working as a reporter and presenter for radio and television. First he worked for the radio of the Hessischer Rundfunk . After starting out as a reporter at the hr studio in Kassel, he moderated the morning show on the youth wave hrXXL . After an HR-internal switch to the big pop wave, Hartwich presented the programs hr3 Madhouse and 0138/6000 . At You FM , which emerged from the youth wave hrXXL, he was one of the first presenters. He received his first radio award for hosting the YOU FM Roadshow program .

He hosted for the ZDF / KI.KA the shipment TKKG - the club of the detectives . After a short guest appearance at the station DMAX , the RTL group signed him . After various reporter tasks ( Fit for Fun TV and a thirst for knowledge ) at VOX , he got his own RTL late night show Achtung! Hartwich , for which he was nominated for the German Television Award and the German Comedy Award.

Hartwich has hosted the program Das Supertalent since 2008 , initially together with Marco Schreyl and since 2012 alone. In January 2009, on Saturdays, he hosted a special program lasting several hours parallel to the fourth season of Ich bin ein Star - Get me out of here! at RTL . He also works regularly as a reporter for RTL, including for the shows Unglaublich! - The show of oddities and objection - The show of legal errors . In January 2010 , he was awarded the Golden Camera for his moderation at Supertalent .

Hartwich has hosted the RTL dance show Let's Dance since 2010 , initially alongside Nazan Eckes , from 2011 to 2017 with Sylvie Meis and since 2018 with Victoria Swarovski . For his moderation there, he and Sylvie van der Vaart were awarded the Bavarian TV Prize in spring 2012 .

In autumn 2011, the comedy game show H wie Hartwich was broadcast on RTL, in which Hartwich found himself in unusual situations, the outcome of which the audience had to guess. In the summer of 2012, Total Blackout - Stars in the Dark was moderated .

Since January 2013 Hartwich has hosted the RTL reality show Ich bin ein Star - Get me out of here as the successor to Dirk Bach, who died in 2012 . together with Sonja Zietlow . He also moderated the game show Cash Crash and the new edition of the cult show Family Duel Celebrity Special .

Hartwich was named “ Tie Man of the Year ” in 2014.

Private

Hartwich has been in a private relationship since 2009. The couple have two children and live together in Cologne .
