Michelle Yvonne Hunziker (born  January 24, 1977 in Sorengo ) is a Swiss - Italian presenter , actress , model and singer . She is active as a moderator in Italy, Switzerland and Germany .

Life

Michelle Hunziker is the daughter of a Dutch woman and a Swiss painter . From 1977 to 1979 she lived in Astano . In 1980 the family moved to German-speaking Switzerland and lived in the Bernese municipality of Ostermundigen and in Zuchwil near Solothurn . In 1993 Hunziker moved to Bologna with her mother , where she worked as a catalog model.

Public performances

Following a nationwide campaign of the lingerie company Roberta Intimo , Hunziker only one on the posters Thong was dressed, the Italian press declared it in 1995, "Italy's most beautiful Po". In 1996, Hunziker presented her first television show: I cervelloni . In 1998 she made it into prime time with the comedy show Paperissima Sprint . Other successful programs followed in Italy and Switzerland. For the shows Zelig and Scherzi a parte , Hunziker was awarded the Italian television prize in April 2002. In Germany, she hosted the Golden Camera award ceremony with Thomas Gottschalk in 1998 and with Hape Kerkeling in 2014, and the before-and-after show Cinderella on Swiss TV3 in 1999 .

Between November 2002 and autumn 2004 she presented on RTL together with Carsten Spengemann Deutschland sucht den Superstar . A high point of her career was the moderation of the program Striscia la notizia , which dealt with current events and the then Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi (broadcast by Canale 5 , which belongs to Berlusconi's Mediaset broadcasting group ). In 2007 she hosted the 57th edition of the Sanremo Festival alongside Pippo Baudo . National headlines made a gesture of admiration for the Italian footballer Antonio Cassano , who had Hunziker put 500 red roses in the cloakroom.

Hunziker also tried her hand at being a singer and in December 2006 released her first album Lole and the single from it, From Noon Till Midnight .

From October 3rd, 2009 she hosted the German-language TV show Wetten, dass ..? Alongside Thomas Gottschalk . . When competitor Samuel Koch was seriously injured during a broadcast in December 2010, Gottschalk and Hunziker ended their involvement with Wetten, dass ..? . Hunziker hosted the show on December 3, 2011 for the last time.

Since January 2012, Hunziker has been hosting the satirical show Striscia la Anmerkungia again alongside Gerry Scotti and Ezio Greggio . In May 2012 Michelle Hunziker formed the jury of the RTL entertainment show Deutschland sucht den Superstar - Kids with Dieter Bohlen and Dana Schweiger . In the same year, she was on the jury of the RTL casting show Das Supertalent with Bohlen and Thomas Gottschalk .

At the end of March 2014, the big surprise show with Hunziker as the presenter was broadcast for the first time on ZDF. After one issue of the program, the format, in which wishes were granted primarily to volunteers, was discontinued. ZDF announced that it would continue to work with Hunziker; one is looking for suitable formats. In July and August 2016 she was a juror at the Sat.1 shows Superkids and Superpets .

Hunziker - who took acting lessons in Los Angeles - also starred in two movies, which flopped: in the Italian comedy Voglio stare sotto al letto (1999) and in Ancient Warriors (2001). She also had a small role alongside Gianni Morandi in the 1998 series La forza dell 'amore .

Hunziker speaks five languages: Italian , French , German , English and Dutch . She was featured several times with erotic photos in men's magazines.

In 1996 Hunziker got to know the Italian singing colleague Eros Ramazzotti . On December 5 of the same year, they became parents to a daughter. They married on April 24, 1998 and were separated from 2002; the marriage was divorced on March 25, 2009.

In 2013, Hunziker announced her engagement to the Trussardi heir Tomaso Trussardi . In autumn 2013 she gave birth to a daughter. In 2014 she married Trussardi. The second daughter they shared was born in 2015.

In 2011, Hunziker gave an interview on Italian television in which she said that from 2002 to 2006 she was in the hands of a sect called "Warriors of Light", which was after her fortune and estranged her from her family and the separation from Ramazzotti caused. During this time she suffered from depression and sought protection from the group. The group she describes is unknown to Italian sect experts; the Roman psychologist and cult researcher Raffaella Di Marzio therefore believes she was probably manipulated by a prana therapist . In autumn 2017, she caused a sensation in Italy with revelations in her newly published autobiography called An Apparently Perfect Life .
