Edin Hasanović
Edin Hasanović (born April 2, 1992 in Zvornik , Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina ) is a German - Bosnian actor .
Life
Edin Hasanović was born at the beginning of the Bosnian War in Zvornik, a Bosnian town on the border with Serbia . A few months later, his mother fled to Germany with the baby. In 2011 he passed his Abitur at the Heinrich Schliemann Oberschule in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg . According to his own statements, he has always been interested in acting. The children's film Who kisses an iguana? (2003) with the young Frederick Lau was ultimately the decisive step for him to take up the acting profession professionally. In 2005 Hasanović presented to a casting agency. According to Hasanović, his first engagements as an actor followed just a week later - in 2005/06 he worked in Thomas Langhoff's theater production of Botho Strauss ' The Desecration at the Berliner Ensemble and was given a recurring role as a teenage refugee from Bosnia in the television series KDD - Criminal Investigation . He played the part of Enes in all three seasons of the crime series that first aired on ZDF from 2007 to 2010 .
In 2010 Hasanović was represented with small roles in the movies Picco and Die Fremde . Further supporting roles in film and television followed, where he was often subscribed to the figure of the violent youth. Hasanović was seen as a gang leader suspected of murder in the television film Inspector Lucas - Aus der Bahn (2010). In 2012, he was cast in The Forest Is Black and Silent, together with Frederick Lau, Tómas Lemarquis , Adrian Saidi and Theo Trebs as the kidnapper of the crime scene commissioner Lena Odenthal ( Ulrike Folkerts ). His breakthrough as an actor paved the way for him in the same year, his first leading role in the drama The others are always to blame . In Lars-Gunnar Lotz 's thesis at the film college , Hasanović can be seen as a young violent criminal who is accepted into an education camp. There he recognizes a previous victim in his supervisor (portrayed by Julia Brendler ). The German specialist critics praised Hasanović for his portrayal of the quick-tempered criminal, which brought him the Actor Award of the São Paulo International Film Festival , the Günter Strack Television Award and a nomination for the German Film Award for best leading actor: “Edin Hasanović's Ben is a stunner; overwhelming, powerful and at the same time authentic, unpretentious: from the repulsively selfish violent perpetrator to the disturbed, guilty boy, ”was the verdict of the German film service .
Edin Hasanović lives in Berlin. In addition to working in film and television, he appears in Robert Hofmann's comedic YouTube videos . After 2018, Hasanović again led the 2020 German Film Prize as a presenter . In an episode of the television program Das Duell um die Welt broadcast in October 2019 , Hasanović is the protagonist of a production that is not labeled as such ( scripted reality ).
