Robert Hofmann (actor)
Robert Hofmann (born May 26, 1987 in Berlin ) is a German film critic and actor .
Life
Hofmann played a. a. in the films Oh Boy , Salami Aleikum and the fairy tale adaptation King Drosselbart from 2008 as well as in the TV series SOKO Leipzig .
On February 25, 2011, he launched his YouTube channel Robert Hofmann ( DVD review until 2014 ), on which he reviews films, series and documentaries and uploads film trailers. In 2012 he started a collaboration with the Mediakraft agency , which he ended at the beginning of November 2015 in order to get involved in the Berlin association "301+". In 2014 he announced that in future he would primarily devote himself to his YouTube channel. Acting is hardly an issue for him anymore: “There is too little courage for art, that's why I love this YouTube thing more.” The YouTube channel currently (January 2020) has around 594,000 subscribers and over 367 million views, as well as over 5,800 Videos, including a large part of film trailers.
He is the patron and inventor of Social Movie Night .
Robert Hofmann lives in Berlin. In September 2019, he married his long-time girlfriend.
