Skylines is a German drama series by Dennis Schanz . The first season, consisting of six episodes, was released on Netflix on September 27, 2019 . The series is about the fictional record label Skyline in Frankfurt am Main and its connection to organized crime .

On November 14, 2019, main actor Edin Hasanović announced on Instagram that there would be no second season.

Hip-hop producer Jinn receives the offer of his life from the Skylines Records label, which is run by rapper Kalifa. But when Kalifa's brother returns from exile, the worlds of music and organized crime collide.
