Tomas Lemarquis

Tómas Lemarquis (born August 3, 1977 ) is an Icelandic actor . He became known through the lead role in the successful Icelandic independent film Nói Albínói .

Tómas Lemarquis is the son of the French actor Gérard Lemarquis and an Icelandic woman. He grew up in a small Icelandic town before moving to Paris to take lessons at the Cours Florent drama school . One of his classmates was the French actress Audrey Tautou .

Tómas Lemarquis is fluent in Icelandic , English , German , French and Danish . He lives in France, Germany and since 2016 in Los Angeles.

In 2018 he appeared in Adina Pintilie's semi-documentary experimental film Touch Me Not , which won the Golden Bear at the 68th Berlinale .
