Adina Pintilie (born January 12, 1980 in Bucharest ) is a Romanian film director .

Life

Adina Pintilie successfully completed her exam in 2008 at the National University of Theater and Film Arts "Ion Luca Caragiale" . With her documentary Nu te supăra, dar ... produced by ARTE France , she took part in several renowned film festivals in 2007, including the Warsaw International Film Festival and the Locarno Festival, and won the Golden Dove of the DOK Leipzig 2007 , among others .

She took part in the 2018 Berlinale with her feature film debut Touch Me Not . The experimental film, perceived as controversial, was awarded the Golden Bear .
