The award of the Golden Camera 1977 took place on February 24, 1978 in the Congress Hall in Berlin . It was the 13th award of this award. The audience was Peter Bachér , the chief editor of TV magazine Hörzu , welcomed. Werner Veigel was responsible for the awarding of the prizes and the moderation . About 1000 spectators attended the event. The award was not televised. The readers voted for their favorite in the Most Popular Female Show Star category .
