Norbert Lehmann (born February 29, 1960 in Dortmund ) is a German journalist and television presenter .

Life

From 1978 to 1985 Lehmann studied political science, journalism and sociology at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster , where he received his doctorate in 1986 . During his studies he gained his first media experience. a. at the Westfälische Rundschau and the Westdeutscher Rundfunk .

He has been working for ZDF since 1985 , initially as an editor in the Düsseldorf regional studio . From 1991 to 1993 he was the personal assistant to the ZDF editor-in-chief Klaus Bresser . He then worked in the ZDF studio in Bonn . From 1995 to 2002 he was the head of the Hessen State Studio in Wiesbaden . From 1999 to 2018 he moderated the ZDF lunch magazine . From 2003 to 2011 Lehmann directed and moderated the reporting magazine ZDF.reporter , which he had taken over from Steffen Seibert . The broadcast was discontinued in March 2011. In 2004 he was promoted to head of the ZDF program area reporter / reportage. Since then, he has also moderated special programs such as ZDF special and ZDF Royal . From July 2011 to March 2018 he was the editor of the ZDF midday magazine . From January 2012 to May 2015, Lehmann regularly presented the magazine Drehscheibe alongside Babette von Kienlin . Since March 2018 he has presented the sports block in the heute news. In April 2018 he took over the management of the special tasks / format development department in the ZDF main sports department.

Lehmann is the father of two daughters and lives in Heidelberg . He is a fan of Borussia Dortmund and regularly mentions this in his presentations and at events.
