Ralf Huettner (born November 29, 1954 in Munich ) is a German film director .

From 1981 to 1985 he attended the University of Television and Film Munich . His first feature film was The Girl with the Lighters in 1987 . He became known for comedies like Texas - Doc Snyder keeps the world in suspense , Voll normaaal or Die Musterknaben .

For the TV series Around 30 , Ralf Huettner received the Telestar (German TV Prize) for the best screenplay in 1996 . His film Die Musterknaben received the 3sat audience award and the VFF TV-Movie Award in 1997 . For directing the television series Dr. Psycho - Die Böse, die Copen, my wife and I , he was awarded the Adolf Grimme Prize in 2008 . In 2010 the film Vincent will Meer followed with Florian David Fitz in the title role of a young man suffering from Tourette's syndrome . The film was awarded the German Film Prize in 2011 .
