Karoline Eichhorn
Karoline Eichhorn (born November 9, 1965 in Stuttgart ) is a German actress and radio play speaker .
Life
Karoline Eichhorn attended the Waldorf School at the Kräherwald in Stuttgart, graduated from high school in 1986 and then attended the Folkwang Drama School in Essen until 1989 . From 1989 to 1995 she had engagements at the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz and at the Schauspielhaus Bochum .
She became known to the television audience in 1995 in the films Three Days in April and The Sandman . In the latter, she played a journalist who spied on a seedy crime writer played by Götz George while doing research. Eichhorn mainly appeared in the theater, for example at the Hamburg Thalia Theater and the Burgtheater Vienna, but played repeatedly in film and television.
In the episodes of the ARD radio crime scene produced by Südwestrundfunk , she speaks to chief detective Nina Brändle. In the film The Church stays in the village and in the television series of the same name , she played the leading role of Christine in Swabian dialect .
Eichhorn is married to the Danish writer Arne Nielsen and lives with him and their child in Hamburg. In 2012 she was a member of the international jury of the 61st Mannheim-Heidelberg International Film Festival .
