Todesspiel is a docu-drama from 1997 about the terrorist attacks of the German autumn and the Red Army faction . The film interweaves feature film elements, original recordings and eyewitness accounts.

The two-part television film depicts the kidnapping of the employer's president Hanns Martin Schleyer and the kidnapping of the German vacation machine “Landshut” . The first part of the People's Prison begins on September 5, 1977 with the kidnapping of Hanns Martin Schleyer. It ends with the news to Federal Chancellor Helmut Schmidt of the hijacking of the Lufthansa plane “Landshut”. The second part, entitled Abduct the Landshut, begins with the take-off of the plane on Mallorca and ends with Hanns Martin Schleyer's funeral.
