Uta-Maria Heim

Uta-Maria Heim (born October 14, 1963 in Schramberg , Black Forest ) is a German writer .

biography

Uta-Maria Heim studied literature , linguistics and sociology at the Universities of Freiburg im Breisgau and Stuttgart ( Master’s degree in 1989). From 1983 to 2006 she worked as a critic a. a. for the Stuttgarter Zeitung , the Frankfurter Rundschau and the Tagesspiegel and as an author for public broadcasters. Since the mid-1980s she has been writing poems , radio plays and essays as well as narrative works. She is now known primarily as a writer of crime novels . Since 2006 she has been a dramaturge in the radio play department of the SWR . She is also a member of the PEN Center Germany .

Uta-Maria Heim lived in Stuttgart , Hamburg and Berlin from 1983 to 2006 , and has lived in Baden-Baden since 2006 .
